Port ordinance
To ensure the safety of Flevokust Port, shipping rules apply. These are set out in the Port Ordinance. This regulation contains the rules applicable to inland vessels when they call at Flevokust Port.
Harbour Master
From 1 January 2026, Bataviahaven Lelystad will, on behalf of the municipality of Lelystad, assume responsibility for port management at Flevokust Haven. This makes Bataviahaven the first point of contact for all matters relating to the day-to-day management and the safe and efficient handling of shipping traffic in the port.
Businesses, skippers and other users of the port can contact the harbour master’s office for information on the facilities within the port, the applicable rules and guidelines, and the procedures for mooring and unmooring. Bataviahaven also ensures that the right support is provided for operational issues or situations requiring coordination.
