An important step in the further development of the business park
Connecting with users and the environment
Twice a year, we organise a Flevokust Haven Companies Day. During this meeting, we aim to inform and connect users of and those involved with Flevokust Haven. Flevokust Haven is growing and so is its business activity. All the more important to know who your neighbour is.
Last spring, Companies Day was held at Aviation Museum Aviodrome. The central topic of the day was park management. Park management should contribute to a clean, whole and safe business park, where cooperation and quality are central.
Businesses are involved through a working group
Park management at Flevokust Haven will be rolled out in two phases. In April 2025, the so-called Initiative Phase started, in which a working group - consisting of representatives from the municipality and entrepreneurs - is supported in setting up a Park Management Association. Among other things, this phase involves drafting the articles of association, developing an annual work plan and organising initial meetings with entrepreneurs. Contact details of businesses will also be inventoried and introductory talks will be held with chain partners such as the municipality, police and fire brigade.
Implementation expected in 2026
During 2026, the Implementation phase will start, in which the newly established association will actually implement park management. This includes collective security, quality control, site inspections, communication with businesses and handling complaints and notifications.
Implementation is in the hands of KG Parkmanagement BV, which has extensive experience with business parks in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region. They will keep stakeholders informed of progress. With this step towards professional park management, we are laying a solid foundation for a future-proof and sustainable business park at Flevokust Haven.
